Italian Lead Trainee

Job Overview:

BEL seeks to provide toddlers (age 2 – 6) with a unique learning framework focused on foreign language, foreign arts, and culture. BEL is seeking a trainee to learn the framework and apply it to Italian. BEL believes intense language instruction at a very early age, along with a rigorous – but fun! - arts and culture program leads to unique and valuable emotional development. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Speak fluent Italian 90% of the time
• Apply BEL’s arts program that combines US and Italian art
• Evolve BEL’s cultural program that “transports” children to the culture of Italy (cooking, art, lifestyle)
• Manage the program five days a week for four hours a day
• Coordinate with BEL’s Spanish Lead

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in any subject
• Fluent/native Italian
• Experience in living in at least one other non-European and non-North American country
• Eager learner & growth-oriented
• Great communication skills
• Patient
• Interest in working closely with toddlers
• Trustworthy and reliable
